Minnesota Vikings all world running back Adrian Peterson is feeling really good. Yesterday Peterson acknowledged that he feels so good, he could play 12 more games.
Now Peterson feels he can do even more to help the team, and told the Associated Press, “he wants to play and make a difference on special teams.”
”For the past two years I’ve been trying to get in on field goal block. Come in off the edge, you know? It’s just going to take one block for them to really be like, ‘OK, you know what? Let’s take the chance and let you go out there and get it done,”’ Peterson said. ”Kickoff return, I wouldn’t mind getting back there. I’m in it to win.”
Peterson did return some kickoffs as a Freshman at Oklahoma, but there’s no way in hell Leslie Frazier will risk losing Adrian Peterson to injury on any type of special teams.
Kudos to Peterson for simply wanting to be a football player though.
