Academy Award winner Al Pacino has been casted as former Penn State Football coach Joe Paterno in an upcoming film.

The tentative name of the film is ‘Happy Valley’ it will be directed by Brian Di Palma, and comes right off the heels of the epic meltdown Paterno and Penn State went through after the Jerry Sandusky has been sentenced.

Paterno passed away last year from cancer, right in the middle of the drama in the Sandusky trial. Shortly before his passing he was fired for his negligence on the matter and his failure to speak up for the young victims.

Will you go and see it?
