Andy Reid’s First Interview with Kansas City Chiefs, Not Arizona Cardinals

Andy Reid coach now Kansas city chance

Yesterday was a very interesting day in the Andy Reid personal coaching carousel. Since being fired on Monday by the Philadelphia Eagles, his name has been strongly linked to the Arizona Cardinals vacancy.

There was a lot of conflicting information and we even saw two respected football journalists, Mike Florio and Jason LaCanfora going at it on twitter (Here is a great breakdown of the spat courtesy of our friends at Larry Brown Sports).

Today, we have an interesting development in the story. League sources indicate that Reid will actually first meet with Kansas City Chiefs officials in Philadelphia about their head coaching position.

Personally, I think it would be great if KC came in and swept Reid right out from under Arizona, mainly because it would prove just how fickle twitter journalism is.
