Houston Texans Running Back Arian Foster has been suffering with an irregular heart beat since the age of 12. It normally has not affected him enough to miss in actual game time until the week 16 match-up vs the Vikings in which Foster was pulled in the 1st quarter, and sat the rest of the game.
He spoke with Alex Flanagan of NFL Network and NBC and told her his biggest concern with this condition in the shortness of breath. He has not currently made a decision on whether or not he will undergo the procedure at this time, but if he does it will occur within the next month and not affect his availability in 2013.
As the workhorse and face of the Texans, Foster is essential for their success. He finished the 2012 season with 1,424 Yards rushing and 16 total touchdowns.
