Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is catching heat from CBS and pundits around the football world after he bagged out on a post game interview most likely because his team lost.
Shannon Sharpe let Belichick have it last night when he called him out for his poor sportsmanship, and today Boomer Esiason fired off his salvo.
Esiason was on WEEI today, and he agreed with Sharpe and his opinion on Belichick’s post game actions.
“Unfortunately it’s not in Bill’s nature,” Esiason said today on WEEI. “For all those people who want to have a reason to hate Bill Belichick, well, he gives it to them. And I can understand why Shannon said what he said. I’ve been down this road before. I’ve come to expect it.”
Belichick was not particularly gracious in defeat no, but according to league rules, Belichick followed all their protocols, by holding a post game presser, and a presser this morning to exit the season.
