Brandon Jacobs Released By 49ers; Not Eligible to Play in Playoffs For Any Team

Brandon Jacobs thought he could talk his way off the 49ers and onto a playoff team, but the 49ers were smarter than he anticipated.

Instead he was suspended without pay and then released after the season to guarantee he couldn’t be added to a playoff roster. Because of the stunt he pulled, don’t look for any team to pick him up in the offseason.
