Russell Wilson

At the Gatorade Performance Lab at Super Bowl Media Center, Seahawks quarterback spoke at length about how taking care of his body was crucial to him not hitting the rookie wall.

Wilson is an extremely dedicated and detailed oriented person. This has meshed well with the Seahawks strength and condition coach who has every segment of Wilson’s health and fitness mapped out.

They used iPads to break down what, when and how much to eat, drink and sleep.  It is what allowed Wilson to have one of the most successful QB rookie seasons of all time.

Gatorade has become a central figure in keeping Wilson hydrated and properly fueled. Wilson spoke Syreeta aka @TheNFLChick about Gatorade, his rookie year and the future of the Seahawks.
