charles barkley MLK joke

I laugh at all things Charles Barkley. The man has no filter when it comes to his mouth. His mouth paired with a blunt, outspoken personality has been gaining him some spotlight as of lately. It’s not surprising that he works for  TNT and has never seen daylight at ESPN. Not everyone finds his controversial, almost crossing the line humor hilarious as I do.

I thought Barkley’s funniest moment was when he made a joke about Abraham Lincoln being his favorite president, because he didn’t have to call Ernie Johnson boss. However yesterday night, when the kiddos are asleep late night into the early midnight hours, Barkley was at it again.

Last night Ernie mentioned that they will be covering two basketball games on Martin Luther King Day. Barkley being true to himself went on to say with no filter,

“Give the black man a holiday and make him work.”

Barkley oh Barkley. A late night television show would be well suited for this man. However I will take what I can get every Thursday night.
