D.C. Sports Anchor Loses Bet and Shirt

Meet Sports Anchor Dave Owens of WUSA9 in Washington, D.C.  He’s our case study in today’s episode of “When Tweeting goes Wrong”.  Per the Washington Post, Owens tweeted “If the Wizards blow this I’ll do the sportscast without a shirt on,” after seeing the Wizards take an eight-point lead over the Brooklyn Nets midway through the first overtime of last night’s game.

Sadly, the now 4-27 Wizards blew it for Owens.  At least he’s a man of his word.
