Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant made strides after a rough start to his 2012 season and finished off with maturity and a sense that he may finally be headed in the right direction.
Bryant gained a lot of respect from his peers and fans alike when he decided to put off surgery on the index finger he broke December 9 in a win against the Bengals.
The Dallas Morning News is reporting that Bryant had successful surgery yesterday on the broken finger, and will spend the next few months recovering from it.
It is not known at this time if Bryant will be available for mini-camps in the spring.
Bryant had his best statistical season of his so far turbulent career, catching 92 balls, for 1,382 receiving yards and scoring 12 touchdowns.
