Sad news today in the sports media world. ESPN anchor, and much respected analyst, Stuart Scott will begin his fight with cancer for the second time.

Scott announced it to his fans via twitter on Monday night:

“Blessed by prayers..I’m back in the Fight. C reared its head again. Chemo evry 2 wks but I’ll still work, still work out..still #LIVESTRONG”

Scott was diagnosed with cancer of the appendix in 2007 and returned six months later to the ESPN screen cancer free. This, his second time battling the disease, will not sideline Stuart for long. Scott says that he plans to work through his treatments and continue to provide his unique brand of sports commentary.

Us here at BSO wish Stuart a speedy& healthy recovery.
