Independent sources are confirming that former NFL player Chandler Williams, who played collegiate at Florida International University, passed away of a suspected heart related condition while participating in a flag football tournament in Miami.
Williams, drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 7th round of the 2008 draft, spent parts of seasons on the practice squads of the Vikings, Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs. He also played for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.
He was currently with the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League.
