27 year old Gisela Dulko from Argentina has decided to retire from professional tennis.
Dulko made the announcement Sunday via her website stating she no longer had “the same drive”. Dulko is known for reaching No.1 in doubles, and winning four WTA Tour Titles. In 2004 she made a name for herself, when she defeated the then 47-year-old Navratilova in back-to-back Grand Slams.
Although she may be missed among fellow colleagues in the WTA, she should have no problem making a Grand Slam with a career in modeling. Dulko has already given her Twitter followers a taste of what she could possibly serve them with in the future, after posting bikini and lingerie pictures online.
Dulko finished her career with four singles titles, 17 doubles, and an estimate of $4.2 million in prize money. That’s how you end your career with a SLAM!
