j.j. watt spit is routine

Yesterday Houston Texans All Pro defensive end J.J. Watt made headlines when he was seen spitting on the Patriots logo at midfield and stomping on it.

After the game, Watt had a pretty good explanation for his perceived disrespect to the Patriots logo.  Pro Football Talk is reporting that Watt told Comcast Sports Net that before every game home or away, he goes to midfield, and spits.

“I do that every game, home or away,” Watt said, via Danny Picard of CSNNE.com. “I go out to midfield, I jog out there, spit a little bit, wipe my feet off, and then I go out and do my stretch. No drama there, that’s 100 percent what I do every game, home or away.”

Well the Patriots returned the favor by stomping the hell out of the Texans.
