The Mayweather vs. Guerrero fight is basically a done deal, just hasn’t been announced. Canelo has stated he would like to fight Austin Trout, but it is Golden Boy who are still going over their options.

Canelo needs to step up the competition, but Golden Boy saw what Trout did to Miguel Cotto and are worried that he may killed their Golden Goose.

There is also a possibility that Adrien Broner would be on the undercard, making it a Triple Main Event. The fights would be in the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on May 4th.

Look for announcements to be made in the coming weeks, so they can start the promotion.  Guerrero for his part is ready to shock the world.

“People will find out the truth very soon,” Guerrero told eastsideboxing.com.

“I’m a natural southpaw who can adapt to different styles in the ring. I’m also more athletic than most realize.

“It’s all there to defeat Floyd…everyone will be in shock…I’m going to tell everyone ‘I told you so.’”
