On Saturday, Tim Tebow’s brother Peter took to twitter to revel in the Broncos’ defeat by the hands of the Ravens. Now come Monday, as if perfectly scripted, he’s taken to twitter to make his apologies.
Tebow tweeted the following:
My comment after the game was uncalled for. I may root for another team but I should never gloat about anyone’s misfortune. I’m truly sorry.
Maybe it was the public admonishing he received or just a good ole word from Tim, but Peter felt the need to right the situation. The evidence still remains, Tebow and anything related to him has come to represent your quintessential Christian role models, but with classless moves like this, it has to cause some kind of crack to the virtuous Tebow brand.
The damage may have been assuaged for now, but surely Tim needs to regulate more.
