ESPNBoston reported today that the Celtics scratched Rajon Rondo from today’s game vs the Heat due to a hyperextended right knee.
The injury occurred during the Friday night game vs the Atlanta Hawks. After trying to work out today Rondo was unsuccessful and headed to the hospital for an MRI.
It has now been confirmed Rondo has a Torn ACL and is out for the season.
