As the coaching carousal starts to get going, it was only a matter of time before NFL teams began to contact current Oregon head coach Chip Kelly. One has already made it clear that Kelly is their number one target and priority.

According to Adam Caplan of the Sideline View, it appears the Cleveland Browns have Chip Kelly designated as their number 1 choice to fill their head coaching position.

Reportedly, Kelly will want more control over personnel decisions, so it remains to be seen as to whether or not the Browns will be willing to give him that.

As always, we’ll have to let things develop as Kelly can’t even be officially contacted by teams until after Oregon’s bowl game.
