Several media outlets have hinted at the coincidence that many of the new faces on the Dallas Cowboys staff are former coaches from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when Jon Gruden was coach.
It’s easy with the yearly speculation about when and where Gruden will coach at next to get caught up in the hype of the Gruden gang getting back together in Dallas if Jason Garrett can’t finally get the team over the hump.
Pro Football Talk via Ed Werder is reporting that no such thing will happen. Matter fact a source that Werder is familiar with called it “ridiculous.”
I guess the question everyone is asking, is with Monte Kiffin, Rod Marinelli and special teams coach Rich Bisaccia all having worked for Gruden in Tampa, and new offensive play caller Bill Callahan having worked and been friends with Gruden, why can’t we speculate such a thing.
Jason Garrett must be really comfortable in his skin, or really likes his job to sit through such scrutiny and change.
