That anonymous guy is at it again. Per NFL.com (via the New Orleans Times-Picayune), an anonymous Saints player voiced his displeasure with Saints’ defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, saying that “Trust me, all the guys were being politically correct this season when answering questions,” the player said. “It’s bad.”
The same unnamed player went on to add “He does have that good-guy persona, but he is a control freak and treats people like crap,” the player said. “(He) has no patience and zero personality.”
You really can’t get on an anonymous player’s bad side. He won’t be shy about calling you out.
Spagnuolo was a popular choice when he was hired to replace Gregg Williams a year ago (before Bountygate), but opinions on the former Rams’ coach have certainly changed after his Saints defense set an NFL record for yards allowed this season with 7,042.
