Chris Rainey Mugshot 2

This isn’t the first time Rainey has been arrested for bad behavior with a woman. In 2010 he was arrested for sending texts to his girlfriend saying “Time to Die”.

This time according to Profootballtalk.com he is being accused of slapping his girlfriend in the face after she took his phone.

I will assume she was taking his phone because she believe he was contacting other females. These type of altercations happen often between men and women, but not an excuse for a man to put his hands on a woman.

He is still being held custody and has been charged with one misdemenaor count of simple battery (dating violence).

*UPDATE*

Rainey has been released by Steelers.

  1. RED says:

You cannot blame him for turning into Ike Turner. You do not touch people’s personal property. She will not do that again with him or anybody else. He should have broken up with her for having in thrown in jail. You do not ever stay with a women who calls the cops on you never.

  2. Jim says:

he needs to be put on severe probation if not jail for hitting a woman before it escalopes into a situation like we seen in KC. if she suspects him seeing other women and hires a PI to check him out it should never be acceptable for him to hit her. this type of behavior is totally unacceptable.
