Steve Spurrier Gave out $100 Bills to Reporters Like a Mafia Boss
The Old Ball Coach has been prone to do things with no rhyme or reason to it, so this is no exception. During halftime of Arkansas vs South Carolina basketball game today he asked reporters a trivia question.
How many college teams have won 11 or more games the last two seasons?
A couple of the reporters got it correct and then this happened (the answer by the way is Oregon, Stanford, Bama and of course South Carolina).
Steve Spurrier asked reporters a trivia question at half. He gave the two who got it an envelope with a $100 bill inside and walked away.

Spurrier had a stack of envelopes in the inside breast pocket of his blazer. Pulled them out at end of interview and handed two to hacks.

I don’t know if this is any type of NCAA violation, but I do know it is awesome, the reporters will probably return the money, I would go to Sizzlers, but I digress.
