We’ve chronicled the back and forth between Lions wide receiver Titus Young and himself, seeing as though the Lions have never really responded twitter rants.
Young is headed down a bad road and received some advise from an unlikely source. Unemployed wide receiver Terrell Owens was in Detroit the Professional Bowlers Association team he owns, and per NFL.com, had some wisdom and a word of advice for the embattled Young.
Owens says Young needs to gain some humility and “know his role with the Lions.” I added the humility part but you get my drift.
“He has to understand that Calvin (Johnson is) the No. 1 receiver, and being the No. 2 receiver, you have to go with the flow of the offense and when your time comes, make the plays,” Owens said, via the Detroit News.
Young’s time in Detroit is probably over, but hopefully some advice from an embattled old pro can help him along the way.
