As the world knows by now, Anna Burns was caught onFacebook talking about Ray Lewis’ baby mamas and murder trial after her husband Wes Welker and Patriots lost to the Ravens.  She implied Ray Lewis was a bad role model because of his multiple baby mamas and the fact he made a plea deal in his murder trial which led him to pay off some of the victims’ families.

It was in poor taste even if it was rooted in some truth.

Welker’s wife exclusively spoke to Pepper on Sports and apologized for her actions.

“I’m deeply sorry for my recent post on Facebook, including comments about Ray Lewis. I let the competitiveness of the game and the comments people were making about a team I dearly love get the best of me. My actions were emotional and irrational and I sincerely apologize to Ray Lewis and anyone affected by my comment after yesterday’s game.  It is such an accomplishment for any NFL team to even make it to the playoffs, and the momentary frustration I felt should not overshadow the achievement of these amazing teams.”

She probably isn’t sorry for what she said, but because she got caught. A good rule of thumb is if you are a wife or girlfriend of a high profile player, just keep your comments off Social Media.

Anna wasn’t on the field dropping passes with Wes Welker. Know your role.

Can you please ask Anna Burns Welker if her husband Wes Welker enjoys the company of his teammate New England Patriot player DONTE STALLWORTH? DONTE STALLWORTH plead guilty to killing a man when he plead guilty to DUI MANSLAUGHTER! Ray Lewis was never found guilty of hurting anyone.

    • bob smith says:

most of those blacks are ciminals and everybody knows it…they just get paid to hurt people on the field versus victimizing people off the field….of which they’ve done as well.

      • Disturbing says:

“those blacks?” “criminals””? just a reminder that even after the reelection of our 1st African American President, we still have a long way to go….

  2. Nick says:

Anna Burns Welker’s apology for what she said about Ray Lewis…yeah right. That bitch meant what she said, and now trying to back peddle and make it seem that she was just pissed…newsflash bitch…pissed is when people say what they mean. One of Rays ex-wives need to find this BITCH and slap the taste out of her mouth.

  3. Nick says:

Anna, since when did having 4 ex-wives and 6 kids become a crime ? As for the murder you spoke about…Ray Lewis was never found guilty of that charge. But I guess you patriot BITCHES have to have something or someone to blame the loss on…by the way, how many ex-boyfriends do you have ? Don’t forget to count the ones that bang you when Wes is on the road.

  4. katekody says:

Shame on all fo you…. what a waste of energy!

  5. Tom Brady says:

Anna just show us your boobs and all will be forgiven!

  6. bob smith says:

everybody knows that black athletes should probably be in jail rather than on the field…she just pointed it out. he did buy his way out of a murder conviction….again, common knowledge. all you a**hats cursing her are just solidifying her point of the violent, classless, soulless black.

    • J says:

Yeah, guess we should all be as non-violent, classy and spiritual as Adam Lanza and James Holmes right?

    • Reply to "Bob Smith?" says:

Everybody doesn’t know….perhaps everybody that subscribes to racism, stereotypes, and unfounded conspiracy theories would agree with you? Here’s some facts for you: Ray paid his debt to society for obstruction of justice. This is the only crime for which he was convicted. Since then he has been a model citizen and athlete. I suspect “your” description of blacks as violent, classless, and souless is further proof of your true feelings.

Come on this dumb ass broad who served french fries and beer at Hooters when did she become an expert on Ray Lewis.Needless to say she is a gold digging air head who is a sore looser,if the courts allowed Ray to walk why is she bitching? Go back to slinging your beer at Hooters and giving lap dances…dump bitch who is a poor loser!

  8. Lou says:

Who cares what she said. The truth hurts. Ray Lewis is a dirt bag murdering thug.

  10. ray lewis fan says:

    Dear Mrs. Welker,

As a lifelong resident of Baltimore and fan of the Raven’s, I would like to thank you on behalf of all of Baltimore for your precise description of Mr. Ray Lewis. I am thankful for arrogant, ignorant people like yourself that depend on Wikipedia to get your information. However, I find it very entertaining that you did read Mr. Lewis’s Wikipedia page, and yet you only highlight what one would consider “negative” things about himself.

In addition to his Wikipedia page listing his very impressive career achievements; it also talks about his charitable work. Mr. Lewis is not a native of Baltimore, as I’m sure you’ve read in your extensive research of him. Yet, his charity for the city of Baltimore has helped so many families in need. To clarify, I’m going to quote the Wikipedia passage that you must have missed. “Lewis has been heavily involved in charitable activities throughout his professional career. He started the Ray Lewis 52 Foundation which is a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to provide personal and economic assistance to disadvantaged youth. The foundation has funded such events as adopting 10 families in the Baltimore City community for the holidays, an annual celebrity auction and bowling tournament, the Great Maryland Duck Derby, Thanksgiving food drives on North Avenue in Baltimore, and Ray’s Summer Days. All proceeds have helped fund the Ray Lewis Foundation. Lewis has since been involved in pressing political, business, and philanthropic leaders for a stronger commitment to disability sports both here and in the developing world. Lewis was also honored with a JB award (named in honor of CBS broadcaster James Brown) during the 2006 off-season and received the “Act of Kindness” Award for his work in the community.” Wow, you’re right, helping the under privileged and disabled really is something not worth mentioning.

I’d also like to point out that you made a mistake. Mr. Lewis was never married, his 6 kids are by 4 women; not wives. I guess you should make a correction that Mr. Lewis has 4 baby mommas, that should help your defilement of him a little more clearer.

As you so graciously pointed out, Mr. Lewis was involved in a murder trial. You mentioned he was acquitted. Do you know that’s the same as not guilty. While being involved in something as horrible as an altercation that leads to the loss of two lives, nobody knows what happened that night. Mr. Lewis paid his debt to society, and I’m sure that being involved in something so horrific is something that haunts Mr. Lewis to this day. I find it commendable that through all the challenges and negatives he has experienced, he has never lost his faith in God or himself. He has used these challenges to not only make his life better, but the lives of others.

Baltimore is proud to have Mr. Lewis as our own. His unwavering faith in God, his team, and himself is a true inspiration to many Baltimore fans. He has shown people what you can do when you put your heart into success. He has exceptional sportsmanship, and win or lose- he always offers words of kindness to his opponent. This is something that teams north of the Mason-Dixon Line should learn to start to practice. Maybe a lesson their ignorant wives should learn too.

In closing, I’d just like to say its people like you that make Raven’s fans stand up and scream loud and proud that we love our team, we love our players, we love our coach! We are One Nation Under Ray and WE ARE PROUD!! Thank you for showing the world that sore losers still exist, and giving our Raven’s more fuel to succeed.
    Thank You for Your Time.

Just one member of Raven’s Nation.

P.S. I’m sure when you were working at Hooters, Mr. Lewis would have tipped you big. Guess he wouldn’t have been so bad then….

Please listen,No matter what you think of a man.It is not right to assume he is anything but a man.Yes,someone was killed in his presence.Did he do it ? truthfully ,none of us know.People are so stuck in there world of who is right and who is wrong. We all are wrong at some point in our life.No one wonts to be judged;so lets please restrain ourselves from judgeing.Who are we to say he is a murder.
Have we seen him murder. We are entitled to our opinon but when our opinion becomes a fact in our mind. Then we are blind.I have pleny of opinons but i am willing to scrutinize any of them if it is for a rightoues cause. Not juding a man without fact is a rightoues cause.Because you pay the victims dont mean you killed.Because you where there does not mean you killed. The jusdical system found him not guilty thus who are you.
