Cam Newton Helps Air Force Serviceman Propose To Girlfriend Over The Phone
Cameron Newton is enjoying his off-season, working hard in class, and being the best he can be. Newton recently did a huge favor for those who allows us the freedoms we have.
The New York Post is reporting that Newton helped a gentleman named Brian who is a member of our esteemed Air Force pop the question to his girlfriend while on KISS 95.1 radio station in North Carolina.
Newton had just finished up on the “Drex & Maney” morning talk show on Wednesday when the show’s hosts brought Brian on the air in preparation for popping the question.
Newton and Brian spoke briefly before the Brian’s girlfriend came on the air and was greeted by the former Rookie of the Year and Panthers star quarterback.
The young lady who reportedly is a huge Cam Newton fan was stunned and speechless to be talking to Newton.
“This is so cool,” Kim said.
“You think this is cool, I think this is even cooler,” Newton said. “I think Brian has a question that he wants to ask you.”
Brian then got all lovey dovey, and expressed his feelings to Kim before popping the question.
“From the moment I met you, I knew that I loved you, and I knew that I wanted to love you for the rest of my life,” the serviceman said. “I know when you say something over and over again, it can lose meaning, but every time I say I love you, I mean it, and I want you to be my wife. I want you to marry me.”
The response from Kim probably almost made Brian change his mind.
