Chris Paul Tried to Get Kevin Garnett to Waive His No-Trade Clause, KG Declined

Apparently, Chris Paul is in charge of the Clippers front office (he would probably be better than some of the people they have had in the past).

According the Bleacher Report, CP3 tried to get KG to waive his no-trade clause so he could be dealt to LA, but KG wasn’t having it.

Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald found that Chris Paul spoke to KG prior to the deadline and made it clear that if Garnett wanted to become a member of the Clips, the superstar point guard would make it happen.

Fortunately for Celtics fans, the Big Ticket declined the enticing offer and held true to his vow that he “will retire a Celtic and be buried in green
