On Monday Bulls point guard Derrick Rose let it be known he would not rush back from his ACL injury and risk being mediocre or suffering a setback.
Rose let it be known he wouldn’t come back until he was 110%. On Wednesday, Rose reiterated what he already said and then some.
According to ESPN, Rose let it be known he would have no problem sitting out the entire season. Rose says he’s fine with that, if it will ensure he returns the same explosive player he was.
“I really don’t know,” he said. “I’m feeling good, but like I said, if it’s where it’s taking me a long time and I’m still not feeling right, I don’t mind missing this year.”
Rose hinted at the fact that he still can’t dunk, has been playing 3 on 3, and will start playing 5 on 5 after the All Star break.
