Are you buying Dwight’s excuse for not guarding Dirk Nowitzki?

Wasn’t like he had five fouls, but I will let you make the call. What you would like to see is your best players, take on the challenges given to them by their coach.

Do you think Kobe would refuse an assignment because he had 3 fouls in the 3rd quarter? Would Tim Duncan question if Pop if he asked him to help on Dirk?

Basically said he couldn’t guard Dirk without fouling. Gave up, without even trying.
