Dwight Howard Says He’s Not Happy With The Lakers, But He Likes The Rockets
In Dwight’s defense he was baited into this answer by a reporter, but he didn’t have to take the bait. There are ways around these type of questions, but at least he was honest, which in the past he hasn’t been.
He was asked a simple question and after trying to dance around it, he gave a simple answer.
“There’s no need to talk about (free agency),” he had said during the un-fun scrum. “I want to have fun. I want to enjoy myself and not talk about free agency or what I’m going to do at the end of the season.”
And this: “I’ve got to do what makes me happy. That’s it.”
And what makes you happy?
“Having fun on the court,” Howard said. “That makes me happy.”
Are you having fun now?
“Not at the present time, no,” he said.
“I like their team,” he said when asked about the Rockets. “They’re a great team. They’re young. They play hard. They’re scrappy. They play together. Everything they do has been great. It’s fun to watch them.”
Hard to know what Dwight Howard is thinking, becomes I don’t believe he knows what he’s thinking at times, but it is looking more and more like he will be one and done in LA.
It is like he has one foot out the door already, and is sounding more and more like the guy who forced his way out of Orlando and got his coach fired.
If I am the Lakers, I cut my losses and try to make a trade before the deadline or they will end up with nothing.Powered by Sidelines
