Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal entered the semifinal round of the Bellator Light-Heavyweight tournament a 14-1 favourite over Emanuel Newton. Newton must not have gotten that memo because in the first round he was able to counter King Mo’s punching combination with a spinning back fist that no one, including King Mo, saw coming.

Check out the surprising knock out below:

All of the matches on last night’s Bellator Card ended in knockouts. Here are the other results from Bellator 90.

Shahbulat Shamhalaev won the season 7 featherweight tournament with a knock out victory over Rad Martinez. Douglas Lima used a devastating right hand to KO Bryan Baker in a welterweight semifinal. That monstrous right hand was set up by a series of thunderous leg kicks. Mikhail Zayats submitted Jacob Noe with an arm bar after pummeling him with a fury of punches in the first light heavyweight tourney semifinal. Ben Saunders won his bout with Raul Amaya by using a left high kick to the head in the second welterweight tournament semifinal.
