I have Olgetree rated the best LB in this year’s draft, but I rather have a Linebacker with a fake girlfriend than one who drives drunk.
Olgetree needs to get his life in order because no matter how talented you are, you can easily drink yourself right out of the league. This isn’t the first time Olgetree has been in trouble and it should be a red flag for NFL teams.
“Last weekend, my client Alec Ogletree was pulled over for speeding and a lane violation in Arizona,” agent Pat Dye, Jr. told the website. “After the officers smelled alcohol, they conducted tests and also cited him for DUI. Although Alec regrets this incident terribly, he is thankful that there was no accident and that no one was hurt. Because this matter is still pending, we cannot comment further publicly at this time.”
Ogletree had also missed Georgia’s first four games this season for reportedly failing drug tests, and he was suspended the first game of his freshman season as well after being arrested for stealing a track athlete’s motorcycle helmet.
