In the aftermath of people suggesting South Carolina All American defensive end Jadeveon Clowney sit out this season to prevent injury, and Kentucky center Nerlens Noel tearing his ACL a few days ago, some good news has come out just in case it was worse.
Kentucky head coach John Calipari confirmed that Noel had already taken out a $10 million dollar injury insurance policy before he ever played a game in Lexington.
The good news is he is insured, so he would have been fine even if the injury would have been worse.

ESPN business analyst Darren Rovell confirmed that it was for $10 million.
Nerlens Noel’s $10M permanent total disability insurance policy cost him in between $40K & $60K to take out

Luckily it wasn’t a catastrophic injury, and Noel should be able to heal up and the make the real money he was scheduled to make before his injury.
