The news is not good for Kentucky star freshman Nerlen Noel who went down in a heap last night after trying to block a shot.
Andy Katz of ESPN is reporting that Noel does indeed have a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Kentucky announces Nerlens Noel suffered a torn ACL and is out for the season. Surgery in two to three weeks.

Rehab for such an injury will take 9-12 months. It’s to early to speculate if Noel will still try to be one and done, or if he’ll return to Lexington.
Noel is in positive spirits considering everything that’s going on, and has an optimistic outlook on the situation, after sending out this tweet.
Minor setback for a MAJOR comeback!I love you all and can’t thank y’all enough for the prayers.
