I find it ironic that KG says if it is up to him he would retire a Celtics, when it is up to him. He has a no trade clause so if he wants to stay a Celtic forever that is his choice.

KG himself spoke on how it is a business and he understands the possibility of being traded, so his comments that it is all the media fault for the rumors sounds silly.

“On a last note, I just want to say that I love my situation here,” said Garnett. “I don’t know what y’all sources or whoever’s making up these bull—- — articles about me getting traded to Denver and all these other places. But I bleed green and I continue to do that. And if it’s up to me, then I’m going to retire a Celtic. So I just want everybody to know that, alright?”

I think the Celtics should blow up the roster because even though they are on a bit of hot streak, I don’t see them as title contenders, but for now it looks like it will be status quo.
