As The saga of Dwight Howard continues to unfold, another droplet of blood was squeezed into the media shark tank as Ken Berg of CBS Sports is reporting that the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics are exploring the possibility of a Dwight Howard for Rajon Rondo swap.

The Lakers trading for Rondo, who is out for the year, would be a sign that they are mailing the rest of this season in and would show how truly desperate they are to get rid of The Dwightmare.
If you think of the deal as trading for Nash’s replacement and Boston trading for Kevin Garnett’s replacement, its not a bad swap in theory. But practically, I don’t see how they can make this happen.
Of course, whenever I hear about these possible deals being explored, I take them with a grain of salt.
I am “exploring the possibility” of getting Kate Upton’s number (for a friend) now that she is newly single. Of course, googling “Kate Upton Phone Number” technically counts as “exploring the possibility”.
This is probably how it went down…
Danny Ainge: Wanna trade guys we dont really like?
Mitch Kupchak: You want D’Antoni?
Ainge: No, Rondo for Dwight
Kupchak: lol
And at that point, Kupchak went to dinner and forgot to say anything else, leading to these rumors.
