You had to know the day was coming, and apparently the day is near.
Ray Lewis says he is Baltimore, and now Baltimore will honor the retired middle linebacker by celebrating him with a statue at the M&T Bank Stadium via the Ravens official Twitter account.
Steve Bisciotti says there will be a statue of Ray Lewis going up somewhere around M&T Bank Stadium.

Lewis was a first round draft pick in 1996, the face of the Ravens, and helped propel the Ravens to be two-time Super Bowl Champions. It seems fitting they will honor him with a statue, since he already has a street named after him.
