Onterio McCalebb NFL Combine 40 Time

Chris Johnson’s record is still safe.  After netting an unofficial 4.27 in his first attempt, Auburn running back Onterio McCalebb posted an unofficial 4.21 on his second 40-yard dash attempt.  However, once McCalebb’s official time came in, we learned that his blazing sprint fell short of Johnson’s 4.24 mark in 2008.  Still, McCalebb’s 4.34 is nothing to be ashamed of.

McCalebb is a lean back (5-10, 168lbs), but he does have good hands.  Speed will obviously be his strongest asset, as he figures to get a look as a return specialist or a third-down back in the NFL.
