Rams Steven Jackson to Void Last Year of Contract and Test Free Agency

Steven Jackson attempts to fend off the New England Patriots middle linebacker Brandon Spikes

The Rams weren’t going to pay Steven Jackson the $7 million he was owed next year, so they gave him the ability to void the last year of his deal and become a free agent.

That is exactly what he is going to do. While he has a lot of miles on his odometer, he hasn’t slowed down to the point, where he wouldn’t garner much interest.

Any playoff team like the Falcons or Packers, could be interested in his services at the right price, there is also a school of thought he will come back to Saint Louis under a restructured deal.
