NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers at Houston Texans

The Pittsburgh Steelers made their choice of which receiver they wanted when they gave Antonio Brown a long term deal last summer.

The Steelers will now allow Wallace to walk and deal with the consequences of where he lands, but according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Wallace may not walk that far to a new team.

The Browns have about $30 million in space and will be big spenders under new owner Jimmy Haslam and team president Joe Banner. Many in the Steelers organization believe Wallace will end up with their division rivals in Cleveland (Haslam was a former minority owner of the Steelers),

The signing would make sense for Wallace.  He without a doubt would be the man with that receiving corps, but would have a pretty good wing man in 2nd year pro Josh Gordon who showed great promise out of Baylor.

The Browns with new head coach Rob Chudzinski and offensive coordinator Norv Turner will want to install a vertical passing game, which would play to Wallace strengths.

Most importantly Mike Wallace would get the chance to show the Steelers they picked the wrong wide receiver twice a season.
