The NBA has dramatically changed from the “Bad Boy Pistons Era.”A shoving match is now considered a fight under the new rules and regulations, so it should come as no surprise that the league handed down some suspensions after Hibbert tossed Steph Curry to the ground like a rag doll, twice.
Due to the chest bumping both players engaged in during the fourth quarter, the NBA has issued a one game suspension to Pacers’ center Roy Hibbert and Warriors’ forward David Lee.
As for the handful of other player who participated in the tussle, Lance Stephenson, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson were all fined $35,000 for “escalating the altercation.”
