If it happens and its important Saturday Night Live is probably going to mock it. Your situation or drama is not official until the cast of SNL gets a hold of it.

So you knew that the power outage at the Super Bowl would get it’s chance on SNL.  Per USA Today, the episode focused on the  performance of the CBS crew during the outage, while making fun of studio hosts James Brown, Dan Marino, Bill Cowher and Shannon Sharpe.

The impressions were not perfect, but the idea, and the premise of what happened was spot on.
