Miami Heat forward Shane Battier was a pretty good athlete during his time at Duke. As he’s progressed in the NBA he turned into a defensive stopper with a fluid offensive game.
Now a days, Battier is still a pretty good defender, who relishes being a spot up jump shooter on offense. During a win over the Bobcats last night, the 34-year-old Battier sprung loose for his first dunk in over 4 years.
According to Ethan J. Scolnick, a Miami Heat columnist, Battier dedicated the dunk to all the Suburban dads.
Good one Shane.
