Skins Believe RG3 Could Start Season Opener
The season opener for the Washington Redskins is seven months away, but that doesn’t stop the team from being optimistic. Per Adam Schefter, Redskins brass feel RG3 is on a good pace, and are encouraged he can start the season opener.
Redskins officials already are encouraged enough with @rgiii‘s recovery to believe he has a legitimate chance to start on opening day.

Griffin III stated at NFL Honors that week 1 was his ultimate goal.
”I’m going to take it slow. My goal is Week 1, that’s all I’m really worried about, so I’ll make sure I’m ready to go.”
I think the recovery of Jamaal Charles and most impressively, Adrian Peterson gives the Skins hope that Griffin III, who has an incredible work ethic can return.
