The scary part, about all of this, is that Westbrook is only 33 years old. Here is what he had to say about the mental problems he is having.

The 33-year-old Westbrook told the Associated Press he can’t remember names, recall facts or retain new information and that he worries his symptoms are only going to get worse.

“Hopefully, they won’t continue to progress,” he said.

Football is a collusion sport, especially for running backs, so going into it you know the risks.  Educate yourself and decide if this is something you want to do for a living.

Easy in retrospect, to go back and say you should have done XYZ, but when you know the risks, hard to pass blame to anyone else.
