Former Syracuse Media Director Admits Videotaping Football Players In Locker Room
Roger Springfield, Syracuse University’s former media director accused of secretly videotaping football players and other athletes in the locker rooms, has admitted guilt.
Springfield agreed to a plea bargain, and will be sentenced to 10 years of probation and may be required to register as a sex offender. An investigation led to the filing of unlawful surveillance charges, after it was discovered that the 57-year-old secretly taped over 100 male athletes from Syracuse’s football, lacrosse, and soccer teams.
It is shocking that this perv will only get off with a mere slap on the wrist after violating so many athletes.Powered by Sidelines
