Jacoby Jones is the man to beat, according to Dancing with the Stars host Sean Lowe.
Fresh off of winning the Super Bowl Jones gyrated those hips on over to Dancing with the Stars to showcasing he may be better than the successful NFL players who came before him such as, Emmitt Smith, Jerry Rice, Hines Ward, Donald Driver and Warren Sapp.
While impressing America with his version of the cha-cha with a remix portion dedicated to Ray Lewis and his famous “Squirrel Dance,” Jones brought the house down with his female counterpart Ukrainian ballroom dancer, Karina Smirnoff.
After scoring a 20 out of 30 on his debut the judges went crazy for Jones.
“That was like a big collection of touchdown dances,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba said after the dance.
“This was all icing and no cake,” said judge Len Goodman. “It was all performance drive. Your technique was terrible. You’re bent over. Your footwork was terrible.”
“You can grind it as well as I’ve seen people grinding it in 16 seasons,” Tonioli said. “But you have to work on your foot placement because your feet are really turned in. You have to place them correctly. You have to control your posture. But you’ve got the goods.”
John Harbuagh wasn’t thrilled with Jones joining the cast, however bringing home a win and a healthy body to training camp will definitely help change his mind.
John Harbaugh said he wasn’t thrilled about Jacoby Jones going on #DWTS. But he was better with it once he met @karina_smirnoff
