New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis wants a new deal, wants to be respected, and wants to show he’s the top corner in the game.
Revis has to get back on the field to do that, and his general manager John Idzik is saying that Revis is ahead of schedule in his rehab from ACL surgery according to the Star Ledger.
“By all accounts, by his doctor’s accounts — he’s doing very well. By their estimation he’s ahead of schedule,” Idzik said, via Seth Walder of the New York Daily News. “Darrelle is a very valued player on our team. Our focus is squarely on getting him healthy, getting him back to his level of play.”
Question is now, was that an update for Jets fans, or was he informing potential suitors that Revis will be ready for game 1.
