For UCLA and NBA great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was on the Jimmy Kimmel Show last night to talk about the his participation in the ABC TV show “Splash,” and everything else going on in his life.
Kimmel of course asked the UCLA alum about their coaching situation and whether or not he would be interested in coaching the Bruins.
Abdul-Jabbar responded stated that he “certainly would be interested in coaching the team.” His goal as a coach would be to restore history, and teach the young Bruins basketball, and help them get their degrees.”
Kareem’s only coaching experience was as a special assistant to Phil Jackson and the Lakers, and he coach the USBL Oklahoma Storm.
