How do you decide a name for a new pet?
As a child I wanted to name my German Shepard after my favorite rapper, Tupac Shakur. However my mother had other intentions when she selected the name Cameron after the actor Kirk Cameron. I know tragic.
Other people with a little more sense than me and my family go for more traditional names. Since celebrities have extravagant names for their children, I would never suspect an entertainer to pick something simple, especially if you’re a part of the Kardashian clan.
However that’s exactly what they did, picked a simple name for their new pet, but there is a twist.
On Tuesday Los Angeles Clippers power forward Lamar Odom and wife Khloe Kardashian added a new bundle of joy to their life, after adopting a baby boxer. According to Khole’s Twitter account, her Lammy Lamar got them a baby boxer, which they named “Bernard Hopkins.”

Hopkins has recently became the oldest athlete in American sports to win a major championship, so I am under the impression this was a way to honor the respectable boxer. The family calls the four legged cutie “B- Hopper and/or B” for short. Although I was going to touch on the fact Hopkins is old and a puppy is well, not old, the name B-Hopper is cute, so I won’t rain on the Kardashian-Odom parade.
Maybe in dog years the puppy is the same age as Hopkins, or maybe Lammy (Lamar Odom) is simply a huge fan of Hopkins. Whatever the reason, that’s a cute puppy.
