Mark Cuban doesn’t back down from anyone, not David Stern, not livid Los Angeles Lakers fans, and definitely not Donald Trump.
On Friday, we reported that Cuban took a shot at Lakers fans after he received backlash for his comments regarding Kobe Bryant’s contract, when he said that they possess “Twitter courage.” This time he’s taken on a single entity in billionaire Donald Trump according to a story via Jay Hart of Yahoo Sports.
Fast forward to last Wednesday night’s “Tonight Show” when Cuban produced a letter he received from Trump way back in 2004 P.T. (that’s pre-Twitter). Cuban’s reality show “The Benefactor” – an obvious spinoff of Trump’s “The Apprentice” – had just been cancelled. Trump wrote to Cuban, “When I initially called you to congratulate you on The Benefactor – little did you or I realize how disastrous and embarrassing it would turn out to be for you. If you ever decide to do another show, please call me and I will be happy to lend a helping hand.”
After Cuban revealed Trump’s letter to the public, he responded by sending out this tweet.
I watched Mark Cuban on Jay Leno last night – what a jerk!

After being the subject of Trump’s ire for the last six days in which he sent out 17 tweets bashing the Dallas Mavericks owner, Cuban finally responded.
